Carrie Davidson


EdD, ACSM EP-C, RYT 200, Mind Body Specialist is an Exercise Physiologist and Fitness Facilities Manager with UK Health & Wellness, where she has worked since 2006. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Exercise Science, a Master’s of Divinity degree from Gardner-Webb University, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Kentucky in Health Promotion. She holds several fitness certifications (ACSM, ACE, RYT 200) and loves to help others be healthy in body, mind, and soul!  Carrie has taught yoga for ballet students, seniors, prenatal/postpartum, kids, and people from all walks of life.

Haley was called to teaching. She has a bachelors and a masters degree in education, and taught  in public schools for 8 years. Haley began practicing yoga about 13 years ago after graduating high school. She was intrigued by the ability to quiet the mind during yoga and loved the feeling of complete surrender in savasana (corpse pose) at the end of the practice. She has always had a busy mind and struggles with anxiety and depression. Over the years, Haley's consistency with her practice fluctuated, but yoga always presented itself to her in various ways.

After a particularly difficult battle with depression, Haley developed a daily yoga practice that significantly helped her find peace. In 2013, Haley took a weekend yoga training, and obtained a level 1 yoga certificate through Yogafit. She began teaching classes for donations for her mission work in Haiti. As Haley was learning more about yoga and deepening her personal practice, she yearned for more. So in June of 2015, Haley completed an intensive yoga teacher training in Costa Rica where she earned her 200hr certification. She loves what yoga has brought to her life, and truly loves spreading the gift of yoga to others. She teaches everywhere she goes. From widows in Haiti, to friends met while traveling, to her students in public schools and now to her sweet baby girl, Luna. She is excited to share yoga with you.

Her classes are a unique blend of yin and yang, blending vinyasa style flows that build heat and strength with restorative postures that allow the body to fully relax and release. Yoga is a passion for Haley. She knows that the world needs more love and light, and that starts from within.

​Milan Bush Hamilton


My name is Milan Bush Hamilton. I'm a native Midway (even though I don't live here... yet). Midway has always been home to me. I am a PE and cooking teacher for Providence Montessori in Lexington, Kentucky. I love to eat great food. I have three children including a step daughter that lives in South Carolina. I've been a practicing licensed Zumba instructor for the past 6 years. I love to dance and prefer to have fun when working out and Zumba did that for me. I'm also a certified group fitness instructor through AFAA and am working on getting certified as a Personal Trainer.​​

In August 2016 Dr. Cassandra Smith completed the 200-hour yoga training at Red River Gorge Natural Health Center (RRGNHC) in Slade, Kentucky. After completing the training and practicing for five years, she started teaching at the community center in Mount Sterling. Currently, she teaches yoga classes at the Gateway Regional Arts Center in Mount Sterling and at Midway University, where she guides her yoga students through a series of breathing, postures, and meditation. Cassandra practices yoga privately and in group session to relax and remain centered. 


Zumba is here!


We are extremely excited to welcome Milan Bush Hamilton who will be teaching Zumba! She will be holding classes on Monday, Friday, & Saturday mornings. Starting in October she's also starting a Tuesday night class! Please, check back for updated monthly schedules and more information!

Pre-Register:


With our schedule, we highly recommend pre-registration but walk-ins are always welcome. There is a minimum of 3 participants to hold a class. Save some time and fill out our waiver online! Please print and bring in with you.
